Qualifications

• Education minimum High School or GED.
• Two (2) years lead role experience in sterile processing.
• Certification in sterile processing (CRCST) or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Provides leadership and leads the sterile processing staff within the assigned department(s) to accomplish organizational goals and manage personnel with coaching and performance appraisals.
• Coordinates and participates in daily operation activities for the sterile processing unit and oversees the performance of sterile processing functions.
• Assists in education planning, staff orientation and ongoing training to ensure growth and development.
• Plans staffing to maximize resources and maintain budgeted productivity standards.
• Ensures compliance with safety, quality and regulatory standards and maintains strong customer relationships.
