Job summary

Ascension St. John Medical Center in Tulsa, OK is seeking a Full-time Sterile Processing leader for the day shift. You will oversee decontamination, assembly and sterilization of surgical instruments and ensure case carts are prepared according to local inventory standards.

Qualifications

• Experience with sterile processing workflows and instrument decontamination.
• Knowledge of AAMI standards or related healthcare instrumentation standards.
• Ability to coach staff and drive quality improvements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee decontamination, assembly and sterilization of instruments per AAMI standards.
• Prepare case carts per local inventory standards.
• Evaluate and document quality assurance findings; coach team to improve audits.
• Maintain productivity standards and quality workflow metrics.
• Recruit, train, supervise, and evaluate Sterile Processing staff.
