Requires minimum 3 years healthcare experience, high school diploma, BLS certification and CRCST. Rotating schedule with multiple shift options; adherence to infection prevention practices and hospital standards.

Description:The Sterile Processing Technician plays a critical role in patient safety.They ensure all surgical instruments, trays, and equipment are cleaned, decontaminated, and sterilized.The Technician prepares items according to hospital policies, protocols, and regulatory standards.This position supports the surgical team by providing timely and accurate instrumentation.They also maintain infection prevention practices.Responsibilities include the decontamination, processing, sterilization, and distribution of equipment and supplies for in-hospital use.The Technician follows the manufacturers' recommendations for sterilization.Processing includes decontamination, assembly, terminal sterilization, and sterile storage delivery to end users.The position requires a rotating schedule, Monday through Friday.Shift options include: 5:30 AM - 2:00 PM, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM, and 10:00 AM - 6:30 PM.
