Job summary

• CRCST certification required.

• Flexible work schedule including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates knowledge of decontamination, disinfection and cleaning methods for instruments and equipment.
• Prepares and assembles general and specialty instrument sets; labels, inspects and wraps for sterilization.
• Knows sterilization processes and documentation; ensures proper indicators and storage.
• Enters and searches information in the instrument tracking system.
• Implements infection control guidelines during handling of sterile packages.
• Prepares and dispatches surgical cases; uses Horizon Surgical Manager to manage OR schedules and label case carts.
