Qualifications

• Sterile processing certification (CRCST or CSPD) or provisional CRCST certification required.

Responsibilities

• Disassembles, cleans, sterilizes, reassembles and packages sterile supplies per specs.
• Operates washers, sterilizers, ultrasonic machines, steam and ET sterilizers and related equipment.
• Follows instrument count sheets and storage guidelines for surgical sets and trays.
• Identifies malfunctioning items and notifies supervisor or biomedical staff.
