Geisinger Wyoming Valley (GWV) seeks a seasoned Sterile Processing professional to educate staff on decontamination, disinfection, and sterilization practices. This role coordinates orientation, mentors staff, and oversees the Instrument Asset Management System across departments and units.

The position requires a High School Diploma or GED, CRCST certification within 18 months, and a minimum of 3 years of related experience. Full-time, day shifts with comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• CRCST certification through HSPA or CBSPD required within 18 months per hire or state grandfathering guidelines.
• Minimum 3 years related experience.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate orientation of staff and provide education on new equipment, decontamination, disinfection and sterilization methods.
• Develop and deliver system educational programs for departments and clinics.
• Mentor staff and coordinate preceptor selection and scheduling for orientation.
• Create and distribute system documentation and reports; manage instrument asset data and labeling.
• Collaborate with IT/Operations to implement system upgrades and training.
