Job summary

Jobtailor in Bend, Oregon seeks a Sterile Processing Training Specialist to lead onboarding and ongoing professional development for SPD staff. You will design training curricula, develop competencies, and maintain validation records while collaborating with OR leadership, Infection Prevention, and department leaders to improve processes in line with AAMI and AORN standards.

This role emphasizes hands-on instrument handling training and ensuring staff meet certification requirements

Qualifications

• Requires CRCST, CBSPD, or IAHCSMM certification in Sterile Processing.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum of three years sterile processing experience.
• Willingness to take additional courses as requested.
• Advanced instrument handling certification preferred.
• Advanced knowledge of AAMI and AORN procedures and policies preferred.
