Description:We are seeking experienced candidates proficient in all areas of sterile processing.
Candidates should have experience with the decontamination of various items including drills, scopes, and DaVinci surgical systems.
The position requires the assembly of instruments across all service lines, including trauma and loaner instruments, with a focus on peel packaging as well.
Familiarity with sterilization processes such as Sterrad and steam is essential.
Candidates should have high-level disinfection and scope reprocessing experience.
Experience with Censitrac tracking systems is required.
This role requires individuals who have worked in a busy Level One trauma facility.
The position may require floating between different locations.
Candidates should be able to demonstrate excellent organizational and communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively as a liaison between departments is critical.
The role involves ensuring that sterilized and properly functioning medical supplies and instruments are aseptically packaged and delivered to their points of use.
This is a fast-paced environment where attention to detail is necessary to prevent infections.
Candidates must be available for a flexible schedule which may include weekends and holidays.
Prior experience in a similar acute hospital or ambulatory surgery center is preferred.
