Job summary

Adventist Healthcare SC at National Harbor in Oxon Hill, MD is seeking a Per Diem/Part-Time Sterile Processing Technician to perform sterilization, inspection, and preparation of surgical instruments.

Responsibilities include assembling trays, monitoring equipment, maintaining records, and collaborating with clinical staff to meet instrument needs while following strict infection control guidelines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; certification as a Sterile Processing Technician preferred.
• Previous experience in sterile processing or healthcare environment preferred.
• Knowledge of sterilization techniques, infection control practices, and medical terminology.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructions.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.
