Job summary

Children's Mercy Kansas City is seeking a Pharmacy Technician II - Sterile Preparations to assist in the preparation and distribution of medications with a focus on sterile product preparations.

A successful candidate will have a HS diploma or equivalent and 6+ months experience in a pharmacy setting as a pharmacy technician preparing sterile products, plus MO/KS registrations or the ability to obtain them within 90 days. This role is onsite at a Children’s Mercy location in Kansas City.

Responsibilities

• Procures and distributes medication orders per physician request, or prearranged work assignment according to established policies, procedures, and protocols.
• Contributes to the effective operation of the department.
• Maintains adequate stock of medications and supplies according to established policies and procedures.
