Job summary

Tailor Made Compounding in Kentucky is seeking a Lab Technician to support sterile operations and daily lab tasks. You will adhere to safety procedures, USP guidelines, and SOPs while assisting with equipment and materials.

Responsibilities include restocking labs, preparing sterile batch kits, assisting with steam sterilization, and participating in cleaning tasks and training sessions. High school diploma and ability to stand for long periods are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
• Capable of lifting up to 30 lbs.
• Capable of working with small delicate analytical equipment.
• Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to all safety procedures, USP guidelines, and company SOPs.
• Restock compounding labs daily and assist lab team when supplies run low throughout the day.
• Support preparation and processing of supplies for steam sterilization and glassware for depyrogenation.
• Responsible for preparing and organizing sterile batch kits for the sterile lab team and assisting with solution preparation as needed.
• Support lab team with various daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning tasks assigned and documented through the Quality Management System.
• Attend department meetings as well as participate in relevant education & training provided by the company.
• Other duties as assigned.
