Job summary

Strive Pharmacy, a patient-focused compounding pharmacy in Gilbert, AZ, is seeking a Sterile Lab Support Pharmacy Technician to join our day-to-day sterile lab operations. This role emphasizes hands-on training and vigorous attention to detail to ensure safe, accurate formulations for patients.

The position is full-time and on-site, with a Monday–Friday schedule, and involves working with ovens, autoclaves, and lab equipment to support inventory, labeling, and documentation in a collaborative

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Hold an Arizona Pharmacy Technician Trainee license or be willing to obtain one before starting.
• Ability to work efficiently, independently, and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, organizational and time-management skills.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be able to wear all required protective gear (masks, gloves, lab coats, coveralls, hairnets, safety goggles, shoe covers).
• Must be capable of lifting and moving items, including ingredients, weighing up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Support the sterile lab by cleaning, calibrating, and wrapping lab beakers and equipment.
• Utilize specialized lab equipment including ovens and autoclaves.
• Label vials, restock labs, and ensure adequate stock levels of laboratory supplies.
• Routinely check inventory for outdated or soon-to-expire chemicals.
• Perform other laboratory support duties as assigned

Location: Gilbert, AZ Position Type: Full-Time, On-Site Schedule: Monday - Friday; 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM Compensation Range: $21 per hour

The Sterile Lab Support Pharmacy Technician will play a crucial role in supporting our day-to-day sterile lab operations and receive exposure to various workflows within our organization. This role is designed to provide comprehensive training and hands-first experience for individuals interested in pursuing a career in a compounding pharmacy. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, strong organizational skills, and a passion for providing excellent patient care.

Required Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Hold an Arizona Pharmacy Technician Trainee license or willing to obtain one prior to starting

• Must be capable of donning and wearing all required protective gear (including masks, gloves, lab coats, coveralls, hairnets, safety goggles, and shoe covers)
• Must be capable of lifting and moving items, including ingredients, weighing up to 50 pounds

• Strong interest in learning about compounding and the pharmaceutical industry
• Demonstrated professional interaction skills with colleagues and potential customers.
• Proven eye for detail in tasks such as labeling, packaging, and document creation.

Work Environment:
