Job summary

River’s Edge Pharmacy is seeking a Pharmacy Technician, Sterile Compounding to prepare compounded sterile products under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist. This role ensures USP 797/800 compliance, maintains sterile environments, and supports QA and equipment setup.

Ideal candidates have CA license and prior sterile compounding experience, plus strong documentation and communication skills. Full-time position with comprehensive benefits in a clinical setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of accredited Pharmacy Technician training preferred.
• Active California Pharmacy Technician License in good standing required.
• Prior experience compounding sterile medications in a cleanroom.
• Knowledge of USP 797 and USP 800 regulations.
• Proficiency with pharmacy software and MS Office.
• Strong attention to detail and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare compounded sterile products using aseptic technique.
• Set up and maintain compounding rooms and equipment.
• Perform cleanroom duties and environmental upkeep.
• Maintain accurate records and QA logs.
• Perform calculations and verify measurements per procedures.
• Follow safety policies and regulatory guidelines.
• Provide customer service support to patients and partners.
