Job summary

Strive Pharmacy is seeking a Sterile Compounding Pharmacy Technician to join our onsite team in Tampa. You will prepare patient-specific sterile medications under pharmacist supervision, ensuring quality and regulatory compliance.

The role requires an active Florida Pharmacy Technician License and at least one year of sterile compounding experience, with strong attention to detail. We offer a competitive hourly rate and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Must hold an active Florida Pharmacy Technician License
• Minimum of one year of sterile compounding experience in a high-volume setting
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Knowledge of USP 795, USP 797, and/or cGMP FDA 503B Guidelines
• Strong understanding of pharmaceutical calculations, medical terminology, aseptic technique, and sterile compounding processes
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with high attention to detail

Responsibilities

• Sterile compounding of injectable medications following proprietary formulations
• Collaborate with Pharmacists, Supervisor/Manager, QA teams to ensure compliance
• Maintain calibration logs for scales and equipment; document procedures
• Maintain cleanroom cleanliness and proper waste disposal
• Monitor inventory; report shortages and inspect materials for expiry
• Participate in audits, trainings and continuing education for compliance
