Job summary

Cigna Health and Life Insurance Company invites a Compounding Pharmacy Technician to join a high-touch program team. You will compound sterile and non-sterile medications, document per USP standards, and maintain the compounding suite in a demanding ISO 5 environment.

The role demands a minimum year of pharmacy tech experience, a PTCB certificate, and the ability to work a four-day, 10-hour schedule with rotating days off and on-site work. Strong detail orientation and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year Pharmacy Technician experience; compounding preferred.
• PTCB certificate required/preferred.
• Sterile compounding experience and USP knowledge preferred.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Word/Excel/PowerPoint/Outlook).
• Strong attention to detail and good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform compounding in ISO 5 environment per USP 797/800.
• Clean and disinfect clean room, ante rooms, hood, and equipment.
• Distribute workload and backfill as needed for assigned area.
• Operate production equipment and manage labels/printers.
• Report equipment malfunctions and coordinate with supervisor.
• Support team, promote positive morale, and handle other duties.
