Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 1 year compounding experience.
• CPhT certification from an accredited program.
• Basic knowledge of pharmacy operations and medication safety standards.
• Ability to operate fax machines and pharmacy software systems.
• Demonstrated reliability and strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate sterile admixture order preparation under Pharmacist guidance.
• Perform product prep calculations and obtain pharmacist validation.
• Compound sterile and non-sterile admixtures using aseptic technique.
• Prepare labels, prescriptions, and compounding worksheets; track lot numbers and expiration dates.
• Generate delivery and pickup slips under Pharmacist supervision.
• Pick and pull required supplies for compounding.
• Ensure cleanroom and related equipment are cleaned, sanitized, and maintained per policies.
• Collect supply inventories from patients/clients and communicate findings to the Pharmacist as needed.
• Participate in branch management meetings, departmental discussions, and quality improvement initiatives.
• Comply with all accreditation standards and regulatory requirements, including OSHA, FDA, and state/federal guidelines relevant to infusion pharmacy
