Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Accurately compound and prepare sterile intravenous (IV) admixtures following aseptic technique.
• Assist the Pharmacist in coordinating and scheduling sterile medication preparation.
• Perform calculations for product preparation and obtain Pharmacist validation before mixing.
• Maintain proper documentation, including batch records, lot numbers, and expiration dates.
• Prepare medication labels, prescriptions, and compounding worksheets.
• Ensure all cleanroom areas and tools are properly sanitized and maintained.
• Pick and pull inventory supplies for compounding.
• Participate in quality improvement activities and department meetings.
• Adhere to accreditation standards and all applicable regulations.
• Collect and relay patient supply inventories to the Pharmacist.

• Assist the Pharmacist in coordinating and scheduling sterile medication preparation.
• Perform calculations for product preparation and obtain Pharmacist validation before mixing.
• Maintain proper documentation, including batch records, lot numbers, and expiration dates.
• Prepare medication labels, prescriptions, and compounding worksheets.
• Ensure all cleanroom and compounding areas, equipment, and tools are properly sanitized and maintained.
• Pick and pull inventory supplies for compounding and dispensing.
• Participate in quality improvement activities and department meetings.
• Adhere to accreditation standards and all applicable regulations, including OSHA, FDA, and state/federal requirements.
• Collect and relay patient supply inventories to the Pharmacist as needed.
