Job summary

Advantis Medical Staffing is seeking a Travel Stepdown Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week contract in La Jolla, California. The role pays $2,826 per week, with Nights shift on a 4x12 schedule, supporting progressive care in a hospital setting.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of recent Stepdown nursing experience.
• Active California RN License.

Responsibilities

• Manage higher-acuity patients stepping down from intensive care who require close monitoring.
• Monitor continuous telemetry and hemodynamic status, recognizing and escalating changes promptly.
• Administer medications and IV therapy, including titratable drips approved for the unit, per facility protocol.
• Care for patients on high-flow oxygen and non-invasive ventilation when assigned.

This Stepdown travel nurse position in La Jolla, California, with Advantis Medical is a 13-week Travel Stepdown Registered Nurse (RN) contract at Scripps Green Hospital. This role pays $2,826 per week and follows a Nights shift with a 4x12 schedule.

In this Stepdown travel nursing role, you will provide progressive care in a hospital setting, assess and monitor patient conditions, support urgent interventions, document care accurately, and collaborate with physicians and the clinical care team during fast-moving patient situations.
