Job description

This Stepdown travel nurse position in Morgantown, West Virginia, with Advantis Medical is a 13-week Travel Stepdown Registered Nurse (RN) contract at JW Ruby Memorial Hospital. This role pays $2,324 per week and follows a Nights shift with a 3x12 schedule.

In this Stepdown travel nursing role, you will provide progressive care in a hospital setting, assess and monitor patient conditions, support urgent interventions, document care accurately, and collaborate with physicians and the clinical care team during fast-moving patient situations.

Responsibilities

• Manage higher-acuity patients stepping down from intensive care who require close monitoring
• Monitor continuous telemetry and hemodynamic status, recognizing and escalating changes promptly
• Administer medications and IV therapy, including titratable drips approved for the unit, per facility protocol
• Care for patients on high-flow oxygen and non-invasive ventilation when assigned

Travel Nursing Requirements:

• 2+ years of recent Stepdown nursing experience
• Active West Virginia RN License
