Job summary

Gifted Healthcare is seeking a Stepdown RN to provide high-quality patient care in Wayne, NJ. The role involves monitoring patients in transitional units where they are too sick for med-surg but not in ICU, with a schedule of 3x12 nights.

You will work closely with physicians and a wide care team to ensure timely assessments, accurate dosing, and safe patient outcomes in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and monitor patient’s progress, identifying sudden or subtle changes in the patient’s medical condition
• Calculate drug dosage, titrate medication doses, administer continuous medication infusion and monitor patients for effects of medication
• Stepdown RNs work closely and collaborate with physicians and all other healthcare professionals
