Job summary

Tenet Healthcare's Detroit Medical Center, a premier teaching hospital, is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for Step Down at Harper University Hospital. This role supports the Patient Care Services Team with nursing leadership, collaboration, and supervision, focusing on patient care across a group of patients and families.

The position features night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, a 0.9 FTE schedule, and a strong emphasis on teamwork, safety, and discharge planning within the DMC Harper/ Hutzel

Qualifications

• RN license in Michigan required.
• BSN preferred.
• Graduation from a school of nursing required.
• AHA BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Establish collaborative relationships with physicians and other health care providers.
• Delegate, assess, provide and evaluate patient care.
• Provide and delegate patient care activities to team members.
• Monitor patient progress and prepare patient for discharge.
• Report to senior unit management and participate in shared decision-making.
