Job Summary

The Dayton Regional STEM School seeks an effective and creative High School teacher to join an existing school faculty and staff for the 2026-2027 school year. The curriculum will include collaboratively designed project‑based learning units that connect to multiple disciplines and/or real‑life issues.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree by August 1, 2026
• Teaching license or alternative license secured by August 1, 2026
• Outstanding communication and collaborative skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Ability to integrate technology into the classroom
• Experience working with middle‑school students
• Master’s degree or master’s‑level coursework
• Project‑based teaching experience

Essential Functions

• Plan and deliver course instruction for middle‑school students – 75%
• Collaborate with other teachers to develop and refine content & materials for courses – 20%
• Participate in various meetings (including IEPs, conferences, etc.) and professional development opportunities – 5%
