Job summary

The University of Texas at Austin is seeking an Education and Outreach Coordinator to support education, outreach, and workforce-development activities within the Center for Human and Robot Co-Adaptation (HRC). You will collaborate with faculty, staff, students, partner institutions, and external collaborators to broaden participation in science and engineering.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in education, science, engineering, communications, program administration, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate K-12, undergraduate, graduate, and/or community-based education and outreach programs.
• Support the development and delivery of workshops, research experiences, internships, mentoring programs, and educator professional-development activities.
• Build and maintain relationships with schools, universities, community organizations, and other Center partners.
• Coordinate participant recruitment, program logistics, communications, scheduling, and event planning.
• Assist with the creation of educational materials and resources that translate Center research for diverse audiences.
• Track participation, outcomes, and other program metrics in collaboration with the Center's evaluation team.
• Contribute to NSF reporting, internal documentation, presentations, and other communications related to education and broader-impact activities.
• Support initiatives designed to expand access to and participation in STEM education and careers.
• Coordinate activities across multiple institutions and research teams within the Center.
• Perform other related duties in support of the Center's education and workforce-development mission.
