Job summary

Floridaspacegrant is looking for undergraduate students to serve as mentors for middle school kids participating in the Zero Robotics Middle School Program in Orlando, Florida. You'll work closely with students, assisting them in programming tasks and guiding them through a robotics competition.

This role involves preparing for online training and dedicating time during the competition. Mentors are expected to inspire young students to explore careers in engineering and technology.

Qualifications

• You should have some general programming experience (C language experience is ideal).
• Mentors need not have prior experience with SPHERES or Zero Robotics.

Responsibilities

• Assist students with programming tasks in a robotics competition.
• Mentor a team of 10-15 middle school students.
