Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Library and Information Science or equivalent
• 2–5 years of experience in library collection development
• 3–5 years in academic libraries
• Knowledge of trends in library collections and licensing
• Experience with online library systems (preferably EBSCO FOLIO)

Responsibilities

• Manage collections assessment and development
• Analyze data, usage statistics, and licensing needs
• Oversee acquisitions workflow including ordering and invoicing
• Negotiate pricing and terms with vendors
• Collaborate with Research & Instruction teams to support teaching and research
• Develop budgetary recommendations for collections
