Job summary

Skate City Sioux Falls is seeking a motivated, licensed educator to serve as a STEM Field Trip Instructor. You will present pre-designed STEM lessons to students in grades 1–8, focusing on concepts like motion, force, and engineering within the context of roller skating. Instruction lasts 35–45 minutes per field trip.

Ideal candidates have experience with children, strong communication, and comfort managing larger groups. A Bachelor's in STEM and relevant educational background are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead structured STEM lessons connected to roller skating concepts.

• Coordinate transitions between STEM instruction and skating activities.
• Collaborate with Skate City management and rink staff on timing and schedule for STEM events.
• Manage supplies and equipment for STEM.
