Fortress Investment Group LLC is seeking a Hedge Fund/Private Equity Analyst in Dallas, TX to build and refine financial models and evaluate real estate and corporate investments across the US and beyond.

Ideal candidates hold a STEM degree (Master’s preferred) with strong coding and quantitative skills, and are ready to work in a high‑performance, fast-paced team focused on rigorous investment analysis.

Qualifications

• Degree in Physics, Mathematics, Statistics or similar STEM field; Master’s strongly preferred.
• Strong coding skills required.
• Strong quantitative skills.
• Excellent organizational abilities.
• No finance experience required.

Responsibilities

• Create and manipulate cash flow models in Excel to analyze potential investments.
• Analyze company financials using reports, filings and MD&A.
• Identify patterns and macro themes impacting investments.
• Model esoteric illiquid assets.
• Coordinate due diligence for investments, including travel.
• Develop and present financial analyses and reports for investment decisions.
• Monitor and value existing portfolio investments.
