Northwestern Memorial Healthcare is seeking a Clinical Coordinator- Stem Cell Transplant (16 Prentice) for a full-time night shift. The RN leads patient care, coordinates unit staffing, and guides an interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient flow and outcomes.

The role requires an experienced RN, adherence to ethics and compliance, and a commitment to safety, regulatory standards, and continuous improvement in a high-acuity stem cell transplant environment.

Competenze

• Baccalaureate degree in nursing from an accredited program.
• RN licensure in Illinois.
• Minimum of two years in a clinical specialty.
• For NMH only, magnet certification or within 1 year.
• CPR/BLS certification.

Mansioni

• Facilitates unit operations on a shift basis according to policy, procedure, and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinates unit based staffing assignments on a shift basis to achieve high quality and cost effective care.
• Directs patient care provided by staff nurses and support personnel for a specific shift.
• Champions new initiatives and participates in unit/departmental or hospital wide committees or task forces.
• Communicates directly with patients and significant others about nursing care.
• Implements action plans to provide safe, quality, and efficient care.
• Assures safety and security of patients, significant others, and staff.
• Provides direct patient care and assesses patient and significant others’ needs.
• Monitors patient responses and documents progress toward outcomes.
• Ensures quality improvement activities for the assigned shift.
• Identifies issues and recommends improvements to managers as needed.
• Maintains a safe, clean environment and communicates staffing needs for subsequent shifts.

Formazione

Baccalaureate degree from an accredited school of nursing

Registered Nurse in the state of Illinois

Two or more years in clinical specialty

Holds Magnet recognized certification or obtains within 1 year

CPR - Basic Life Support
