The role includes routine and some complex progenitor cell processing with stringent quality control in a GMP environment.

The position emphasizes precise recordkeeping, independent problem-solving, and ongoing professional development with a minimum of 5 continuing education points per year.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Biological Science or equivalent required.
• One to two years of relevant clinical or research laboratory experience preferred.
• Knowledge of stem cell regulation and accreditation requirements preferred.
• Familiarity with Excel and Word; strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine processing and cryopreservation of hematopoietic progenitor cells (HPC) according to SOP, using sterile technique and GMP.
• Maintain accurate documentation and reporting of results.
• Demonstrate independence in evaluating, troubleshooting, and problem solving; document all occurrences and implement corrective actions as needed.
