Job summary

NORY New York is seeking School Break Camp Counselors to support NYC campers during select school breaks. You will guide students through STEM activities, ensure safety, and help coordinate daily camp activities in Manhattan and Brooklyn.

Ideal candidates are energetic, reliable, and bring 2+ years of experience with children. Flexible availability on school breaks is preferred to fit the camp schedule.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience working with children ages 3 to 12.
• Enthusiastic about learning new technologies and skills.
• Positive, solution-oriented and able to take constructive feedback to foster growth.
• Energetic and fun-loving to match young campers.
• Flexible availability during school breaks and days closed by schools.

Responsibilities

• Mentorship and Guidance: Lead campers through interactive STEM activities and guide their educational and personal development.
• Safety and Supervision: Maintain a safe, welcoming environment and follow camp safety guidelines.
• Activity Coordination: Help organize and lead camp activities to keep days dynamic and enriching.
