Olympic Steel in Minneapolis, MN is seeking a Traffic Coordinator to manage and support all activities within the division’s traffic process. You will coordinate inbound material, schedule trucking, and manage documentation to ensure efficient, on-time deliveries.

Responsibilities include dispatching trucks, creating bills of lading, composing traffic reports, and coordinating with outside vendors. A related degree and 2+ years in dispatch in the steel service industry are required.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree in related field.
• 2+ years of experience in steel-service center.
• 2+ years of dispatch experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate inbound material from outside vendors.
• Create trucking schedules and dispatch trucks as needed.
• Complete traffic reports and ad hoc reporting.
• Create bills of lading and related paperwork.
• Coordinate load shipments with outside vendors.
• Pair customer orders into shipments for efficient deliveries.
