Job summary

Tindall Corporation, a leading precast concrete manufacturer, is seeking a material handler to assist in the steel shop. You will move materials, set jigs, feed iron workers, and help unload trucks while maintaining a safe, organized work area in a manufacturing setting.

High School Diploma or GED is required, with 1–3 months of related experience preferred. This on-site role offers comprehensive health benefits and a path for growth within a Southeast-based manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; or 1–3 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Move material from storage racks to rollers or shake-out table with overhead (bridge) crane.
• Set jig to required length.
• Hand feed material into iron worker.
• Shear and/or punch holes in flat stock, angle, wire mesh, coil rod, and rebar.
• Stack material on pallets or material buggy for different jobs or pours and mark accordingly.
• Assist in unloading incoming trucks of material for steel shop.
• Clean and keep safe work area including sweeping floor, dispose of scrap metal.
• Perform miscellaneous duties as directed by Supervisor.
