Job summary

All Things Metal Industries, located in Surprise, AZ, is looking for a motivated Assembler for Steel Manufacturing. This role involves assembling steel plenums and requires hands-on experience, particularly in ironworking and crane operations. The position offers a consistent work schedule Monday to Friday with overtime as needed, and benefits include medical and a 401(k) plan.

Qualifications

• Previous ironworking, steel fabrication, or similar hands-on construction experience.
• Ability to read a tape measure accurately to 1/16".
• Experience using power tools in a production or construction setting.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Comfortable working outdoors and at heights when needed.
• Professional working proficiency in English.
• Must pass a background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Assemble steel plenums and prepare materials for fabrication.
• Operate power tools safely and efficiently.
• Read and mark steel based on measurements for assembly.
• Perform grinding to meet quality standards.
• Organize steel materials throughout the work area.
• Follow safety protocols when working with cranes.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
