Job summary

Premier Steel Structures seeks a Steel Installer to join our field team in California. The role involves reading blueprints, cutting and installing steel components, and operating heavy machinery to position beams safely and precisely.

You will work with project managers and crew to ensure on-time completion to specifications, while following all safety protocols and keeping the site clean and organized. Applicants should have a high school diploma or equivalent and experience in steel

Job description

The Steel Installer will be responsible for installing and erecting steel structures at various construction sites. The ideal candidate will have experience in steel installation and erection, and will be able to work independently or as part of a team. The Steel Installer will be required to read and interpret blueprints, use hand and power tools, and operate heavy machinery to lift and position steel beams and other components. The Steel Installer will also be responsible for ensuring that all safety protocols are followed and that the work site is kept clean and organized.
