Job summary

NexGen Steel Corp in Hanson, MA is seeking a Production Assembler to join our growing team. The role involves joining pre-fabricated steel components to create wall and truss panel assemblies using rivet guns, drills, and impact drivers.

No prior construction background required; training provided. We offer full-time hours, Monday–Friday, with overtime opportunities and a competitive hourly wage starting at $18.00 per hour, based on experience.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read a tape measure accurately.
• Basic mechanical or construction aptitude preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods.
• Construction/manufacturing experience a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assemble pre-fabricated steel components to form wall and truss panels.
• Measure, align, and secure parts according to drawings.
• Inspect assemblies for alignment and quality.
• Maintain a clean, safe workstation and follow safety procedures.
• Collaborate with teammates to meet daily goals.
