Job summary

A construction management company in Maryland Heights, MO area is seeking a Detailing Project Manager with 3-5 years of experience in steel detailing. The ideal candidate will have project management experience, proficiency in budgeting, estimating, and safety plans. Strong familiarity with AutoCAD, BIM, or REVIT is preferred. This full-time position offers a generous salary and benefits package.

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years of Steel Detailing experience.
• Project Management experience with commercial projects.
• Experience with budgeting, estimating, manpower planning, and blueprint-reading.
• Familiarity with assembling submittals, pulling permits, and preparing reports.
• Experience developing site safety plans and conducting inspections.

Responsibilities

• Prepare weekly/monthly reports and maintain project documentation.
• Develop and manage safety plans for sites and conduct regular inspections.
• Assemble submittals, pull permits, and prepare reports.
• Assist with budgeting, estimating, and manpower planning for projects.
• Coordinate with stakeholders on commercial, industrial, or university projects.

Job description

An outstanding, full-time opening has become available in the Maryland Heights, MO area for an individual with 3-5 years’ experience as a Detailing Project Manager with background in Steel frame and fabrication projects. This position would earn a generous base salary and great benefits package including medical benefits, a 401K plan, generous PTO and other outstanding perks.

All candidatesMUST have the following experiences to qualify for consideration:

• Please DO NOT APPLY unless you have 3-5+ years of Steel Detailing experience with some Project Management experience, preferably working with commercial projects.
• Experience with budgeting, estimating, manpower planning, and blueprint-reading is a MUST.
• Familiarity with assembling submittals, pulling permits, and preparing reports on a weekly/monthly basis is a MUST.
• Experience with developing site safety plans and conducting inspections is a MUST.
• AutoCAD, BIM, and/or REVIT experience is a BIG PLUS.
• PMP Certification (Project Management Professional) is a BIG PLUS.

• Vocational School / Certifications in Manufacturing, Engineering, or Construction Management is a BIG PLUS.

Candidates with Commercial or Industrial experience including Universities, Laboratories, Hospitals or Assisted Living project management experience are highly encouraged to apply.
