Job summary

Potomac Mechanical Contractors is seeking a Steamfitter to support piping and Steamfitting operations. You will install, assemble, and maintain piping and mechanical systems, following safety procedures and working with other trades to ensure quality results.

The role requires strong mechanical aptitude, 3+ years of related experience (or training for the right candidate), and a valid driver’s license. Expect early-morning shifts Mon–Fri with occasional Saturdays.

Qualifications

• Steamfitting or related mechanical trade experience preferred.
• 3+ years of relevant experience ideal; training offered for right candidate.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
• Motivated to grow and advance within the trade.
• Valid driver’s license; able to pass a background check.
• U.S. citizenship required.
• Reliable for early-morning Mon–Fri schedule with occasional Saturdays.

Responsibilities

• Work as a Steamfitter supporting piping and Steamfitting operations.
• Install, assemble, maintain piping and mechanical systems as assigned.
• Follow jobsite procedures and safety requirements.
• Collaborate with other trades and team members to complete quality work.
• Continue developing knowledge of piping systems and equipment.

Your New Role

• Work as a Steamfitter supporting Potomac Mechanical Contractors’ mechanical piping and Steamfitting operations
• Install, assemble, maintain, and work with piping and mechanical systems as assigned
