Job summary

Din Tai Fung North America is seeking a Steamer Line Cook in Los Angeles, CA to deliver our signature dumplings by steaming to order and ensuring each basket meets our quality standards. You will contribute to a clean, organized kitchen and help uphold strict SOPs in a high-volume restaurant.

Responsibilities include maintaining equipment, assisting with deep cleaning, standing for long periods, and collaborating with team members to provide guests with a consistent, exceptional dining

Responsibilities

• Keeps all kitchen areas clean and sanitized.
• Organizes items within the walk-in coolers and freezers.
• Lifts/moves boxes, bags, chairs, and tables (up to 50 pounds).
• Assists with regular deep cleaning of the kitchen.
• Maintains confidentiality regarding all proprietary information, including but not limited to recipes and Standard Operating Procedures (“SOP’s”).

As a Steamer Line Cook, you play a key role in delivering the signature dumplings our guests come to Din Tai Fung (DTF) for. In this role, you are responsible for carefully steaming dumplings to order, ensuring each basket is cooked to perfection and served with the quality and consistency our guests expect.
