Job summary

Hinkle Contracting Company, LLC is seeking a Steam Truck Operator for 2nd shift to support steam cleaning and equipment maintenance. You will operate a steam truck with a pressure washer, ensuring proper maintenance and safety across jobs.

Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED, be willing to obtain a DOT physical card, and pass pre-employment screenings. Willingness to work nights and weekends is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; 1–2 years asphalt/road construction experience preferred.
• Willing to obtain DOT physical card prior to employment.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.
• Must be able to work nights and weekends when required.

Responsibilities

• Operate steam truck equipped with pressure washer.
• Work on 1st and 2nd shift cleaning equipment and assisting the Lube Tech.
• Inspect equipment to ensure cleanliness and proper order.
• Perform daily maintenance to keep equipment in safe working order.
• Notify supervisor if equipment needs repair.
• Follow safety policies and OSHA/MSHA regulations.
