Job summary

You will join Atlas Copco Specialty Rental in Gastonia, NC as a Steam Field Service Technician, focusing on maintaining and repairing boiler and steam rental systems in the field. The role supports growth as a leader in steam rental in North America, traveling to customer sites within the United States.

Applicants should have hydronic/boiler experience, combustion analysis skills, and the ability to troubleshoot PLCs.

Qualifications

• Experience with boilers or HVAC systems preferred.
• Associate degree or technical equivalent required.
• Minimum two years in a related industry.
• Good command of English; another language is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair equipment in the field.
• Lead troubleshooting and document repairs.
• Provide preventative maintenance for packaged boiler systems.
• Disassemble malfunctioning equipment and replace defective parts.
• Navigate PLC programs to troubleshoot and ensure safety compliance.
