Job summary

Rapid Medical in Omaha, NE is seeking routed drivers for long-term contractor routes delivering to hospitals and clinics. You'll maintain the same stops and schedule, with a reliable daily income and a focus on safety and accuracy.

Contract details include a $140 per day rate, a $25 weekly bonus opportunity, a $300 sign-on bonus after 30 days, and flexible payment options. You provide your own vehicle and insurance; training and HIPAA compliance are part of onboarding.

Qualifications

• 21 years of age or older.
• A satisfactory driving record — a motor vehicle record (MVR).
• Ability to lift and carry loads up to 25 lbs.
• Strong time management and problem-solving skills — on-demand drivers must handle multiple locations under time pressure.
• Prior experience in delivery, rideshare, or medical courier services is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Run a consistent daily route across designated hospital and clinic locations.
• Use driver app to manage navigation, scheduling, and real-time dispatch support throughout.
• Document all pickups and deliveries with photos and proof of delivery through the app.
• Handle specimens carefully — temperature control as required.
• Maintain proper temperature handling and contact dispatch if issues arise on route.
