Position Summary

As a Housekeeping Status Board Operator, you are the central hub of communication and coordination for the housekeeping team. You play a vital role in maintaining smooth daily operations by assigning rooms, scheduling Guest Room Attendants efficiently, and accurately tracking room statuses. Your timely, professional handling of calls from guests, team members, and other departments ensures responsive service and operational continuity. Your attention to detail and commitment to excellence directly support guest satisfaction and the overall success of the property.

Responsibilities
  • Provide timely and courteous guest service consistent with the company's guest service culture.
  • Operate multi-line phones, hand‑held radios, and desktop communication systems to coordinate housekeeping operations and dispatch service calls efficiently.
  • Schedule Guest Room Attendants to clean assigned rooms and maintain daily cleaning updates.
  • Receive and log guest laundry, dry cleaning, and lost and found items; elevate guest concerns as needed.
  • Maintain a daily log of service activity and outstanding requests, ensuring timely resolution.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable gaming laws and company internal controls, policies and procedures, Title 31, and federal regulations, if they apply to the position.
  • Provide outstanding guest service in a timely manner to both guests and fellow team members that meets the company's guest service culture standards.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • At least 6 months of hospitality, guest service, or administrative experience in a similar environment preferred.
  • Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks accurately in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills and willingness to work as part of a team.

  • Ability to access and input information using a moderately complex computer system.
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Excel, and Word; familiarity with collaboration tools like Microsoft Teams.
Requirements
  • At least 18 years of age.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Ability to effectively communicate in English, both written and verbal.
  • Obtain and maintain all work cards as required by the company.
  • Verify right to work in the United States.
Physical Requirements
  • Occasionally push/pull up to 25 lbs.
  • Occasionally lift/carry up to 25 lbs at floor, knee, waist, and chest levels.
  • Occasionally squat, kneel, reach, bend, twist.
  • Frequently sit and work at a desk or computer.
  • Occasionally stand and walk.
  • Ability to communicate using in‑person speech, radios, and telephone.
  • Ability to hear, understand, and distinguish speech and/or other sound in person.
  • Ability to distinguish between shades of color.
  • Ability to use tools or equipment requiring a high degree of dexterity.
Work Environment
