Vertex Analytical Development, Statistics Co-Op is a 6-month experiential training program for students pursuing an advanced degree in Statistics or Biostatistics, or related fields. Qualifications

• Enrolled in a graduate program (Master's preferred) in Statistics or Biostatistics or related field.
• Experience using analysis software PLA 3.0.
• Ability to learn and apply USP guidance to analyses of data.
• Experience with statistical modeling (regression, mixed effects, Bayesian) and programming (Python, R).
• Authorized to work in the United States; Vertex does not sponsor internships for this org.
• Must be enrolled in an advanced degree program if graduating before June 2027.
• Available to work full-time, 40 hours/week January–June 2027.

Responsibilities

• Guide and perform data analysis for biologics programs in accordance with USP guidance.
• Create a data analysis template using PLA 3.0 for different projects.
• Collaborate with team members to learn assays and apply USP guidance.
