Job summary

MIRACORP INC is seeking a Statistician to analyze survey data and prepare statistical reporting in collaboration with survey methodology personnel and project stakeholders. This role supports the Department of State, Directorate of Passport Services, and requires U.S.

citizenship and the ability to pass a federal background check. Qualified candidates hold a Bachelor’s degree (or 8 years of experience in lieu) and a SECRET clearance; strong statistical methods and data presentation skills are

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field required, or 8 years of relevant experience in lieu of degree.
4 years of hands-on experience in statistics, survey data analysis, or a related field.
Familiarity with statistical methods and reporting techniques.
Ability to clearly present results in written materials and to stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Analyze and interpret data collected through surveys.
Compile reports, charts, and tables using established statistical methods.
Collaborate with survey methodologists to support sound sampling.
Use appropriate sampling approaches to support quantitative and qualitative analysis.
Participate in technical briefings for survey stakeholders.
Explain statistical results clearly in written materials and stakeholder discussions.
