Responsibilities

• Collects, compiles, and analyzes statistical data.
• Performs complex statistical analyses for a broad spectrum of data and studies.
• Reviews programs written by other statisticians and verifies statistical output and results.
• Oversees programming and database handling to assure high quality data collection.
• Writes and reviews statistical and outcome sections of study reports and submissions.
• Assesses feasibility of analysis requests and associated timelines.
• Evaluates research studies and recommends statistical procedures.
• Delegates and verifies work of junior statisticians and mentors students in statistics.
