Cytel is sponsoring a dedicated Statistical Programmer role embedded with one of our pharmaceutical clients. You will perform analysis, data manipulation and reporting across Phase I-IV trials while leveraging Cytel backing and training resources.

Ideal candidates are recent graduates with strong SAS skills, foundational data manipulation abilities, and a keen interest in drug development. You will join a globally dispersed team and contribute to timely delivery and high-quality submissions.

Responsibilities

  • Perform data manipulation, analysis and reporting of clinical trial data (safety and efficacy) using SAS.
  • Create and validate datasets/analysis files, tables, listings and figures (TLFs).
  • Generate ad-hoc reports and contribute to submission packages.
  • Support Efficacy analysis and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Demonstrate adaptability and commitment to deadlines.

Position Overview:

We are looking for a Recent Graduate to perform and act as a Statistical Programmer, where you will leverage your education to develop and expand programming skills, supporting one or more Phase I-IV clinical trials. This is a great opportunity to start a career in Clinical Life Sciences, supported by Cytel and embedded in a trusted partner.

As a Statistical Programmer, your responsibilities will include:
  • Performing data manipulation, analysis, and reporting of clinical trial data, both safety and efficacy, utilizing SAS programming
  • Applying your SAS programming skills, to create and validate datasets/analysis files, tables, listings, and figures ( TLF s)
  • Generating ad-hoc reports
  • Preparing and validating submission packages
  • Applying your understanding/experience with Efficacy analysis
  • Serving as team player, with a willingness to go the extra distance to get results, meet deadlines, etc.
  • Being adaptable and flexible when priorities change

  • A minimum of 4 years of Undergraduate study and 2 additional years of Graduate-level education
  • Academic training in both of the following 2 categories (or closely related fields)
  • Statistics, Epidemiology, or Data Science
  • Computer Science, Mathematics, or Computational Science
  • Foundational data manipulation, analysis and reporting skills
  • Familiarity with drug development life cycle and a passion to learn and expand knowledge
  • Ability to work effectively and successfully in a globally dispersed team environment with cross-cultural partners
  • Excellent oral and written English communication skills
  • Ability to provide quality output and deliverables, in adherence with challenging timelines
  • Willingness and ability to learn and follow Company’s standard processes and procedures.
  • Ability to effectively learn and perform statistical programming and related tasks
