Job summary

Cytel is sponsoring a dedicated Statistical Programmer role embedded with one of our pharmaceutical clients in Maryland. We seek a recent graduate to leverage your education across Phase I–IV trials, focusing on data manipulation, analysis and reporting using SAS.

You'll develop and validate datasets, tables, listings, and figures, generate ad-hoc reports, and prepare submission packages while collaborating with a globally dispersed team. Excellent English communication is essential.

Qualifications

• 4 years undergraduate study plus 2 years graduate-level education.
• Academic training in Statistics, Epidemiology or Data Science.
• Academic training in Computer Science, Mathematics or Computational Science.
• Foundational data manipulation, analysis and reporting skills.
• Familiarity with drug development lifecycle and willingness to learn.
• Ability to work in a globally dispersed, cross-cultural team with strong English communication.
• Able to deliver quality output under tight deadlines.
• Willingness to learn and follow Cytel's standard processes.

Responsibilities

• Perform data manipulation, analysis and reporting of clinical trial data using SAS.

Position Overview:

We are looking for a Recent Graduate to perform and act as a Statistical Programmer, where you will leverage your education to develop and expand programming skills, supporting one or more Phase I-IV clinical trials. This is a great opportunity to start a career in Clinical Life Sciences, supported by Cytel and embedded in a trusted partner.

As a Statistical Programmer, your responsibilities will include:

• Performing data manipulation, analysis, and reporting of clinical trial data, both safety and efficacy, utilizing SAS programming
• Applying your SAS programming skills, to create and validate datasets/analysis files, tables, listings, and figures ( TLF s)
• Generating ad-hoc reports
• Preparing and validating submission packages
• Applying your understanding/experience with Efficacy analysis
• Serving as team player, with a willingness to go the extra distance to get results, meet deadlines, etc.
• Being adaptable and flexible when priorities change

• A minimum of 4 years of Undergraduate study and 2 additional years of Graduate-level education
• Academic training in both of the following 2 categories (or closely related fields)
• Statistics, Epidemiology, or Data Science
• Computer Science, Mathematics, or Computational Science
• Foundational data manipulation, analysis and reporting skills
• Familiarity with drug development life cycle and a passion to learn and expand knowledge
• Ability to work effectively and successfully in a globally dispersed team environment with cross-cultural partners
• Excellent oral and written English communication skills
• Ability to provide quality output and deliverables, in adherence with challenging timelines
• Willingness and ability to learn and follow Company’s standard processes and procedures.
