Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent with at least four years of related research and programming experience.
Master's degree in biostatistics, statistics or public health may substitute for part of experience.
Ability to independently program and perform statistical analyses in SAS or R.

Responsibilities

Interact with investigators and staff at Columbia and at other sites.
Provide support for primary analyses and decisions according to knowledge and experience.
Support broader decisions in consultation with the PI.
Report to the PI regarding program performance and suggestions for improvement.
Maintain and organize datasets.
Perform statistical analyses of cross-sectional and longitudinal data.
Assist in preparation of manuscripts for publication and authorship participation.
Assist with power analyses and study development and grant submissions.
