Job summary

Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic seeks a Stationary Engineer to monitor and supervise hospital facilities and staff at Nazareth Hospital during the night shift. Responsibilities include maintaining boilers, AHUs, and emergency systems, with a focus on safety and reliability across building services.

You will interpret blueprints, perform multi-trade maintenance, and ensure elevator operations and power generators function correctly, contributing to a safe patient environment.

Qualifications

• High School graduate and/or vocational training.
• Must demonstrate proficiency in several trades.
• Must be able to interpret blueprints and work from drawings.
• Must demonstrate proficiency in building maintenance techniques.
• Must demonstrate proficiency in the operations of elevators and emergency power generators.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the hospital facilities, equipment and staff under supervision.
• Perform maintenance on pressure boilers and hot water heating systems.
• Maintain and repair air handling units; grease, oil and adjust equipment.
• Dismantle machinery to access/replace defective parts and repair worn components.
• Other duties as assigned by the director.

Responsibilities

As a Stationary Engineer you will: They assist the Director in the monitoring and supervision of the hospital facilities, equipment and staff. Performs maintenance involving inspection, greasing, oiling, adjusting and cleaning on the following: pressure boilers, hot water heating systems, air handling units. Dismantles machinery and equipment to gain access to and the removal of defective parts and repairs and replaces worn or broken parts. Other duties as assigned by director

Minimum Qualifications
