Job summary

Union Depot in Savannah, Georgia, is seeking a Stationary Engineer to conduct maintenance and inspections on heating and cooling equipment. The role involves operating engines, motors, pumps, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. Candidates must be flexible and capable of handling various tasks. Experience is preferred, and the schedule is Monday to Friday, 3:30 PM to 11:30 PM. Licensing opportunities are available for qualified technicians.

Qualifications

• Flexible and willing to complete assigned tasks.
• Qualified to operate heating and ventilating equipment, engines, motors, pumps, and compressors.
• Experience in maintenance and safety inspections.

Job description

The Stationary Engineer performs scheduled maintenance, safety inspections and repairs to varying types of equipment. Follows safe practices and complies with company and regulatory standards. The Operations Engineer will be qualified to operate or assist in operating all heating and ventilating equipment, engines, motors, combustion engines, pumps, air compressors, air conditioning units, fans and siphons on the site assigned. Must be flexible and willing to complete all tasks that are assigned.

Schedule: Monday - Friday 3:30PM to 11:30PM

Pay: Based on experience and licensing,10% shift differential eligible!
